In my career I have been able to work for wonderful companies like PMI Worldwide (tms), Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, Cranium and freelanced for creative Seattle companies such as Forest-Pruzan Creative, Wonderforge and Realogics. Most recently I was Senior Graphic Design Manager for PMI Worldwide for Starbucks merchandise and product. I led a design team specializing in product, illustration, production art, packaging and photography. I consider myself creative, practical and level-headed. I have excelled at building a talented team and creating an environment for them to do their best work in a supportive environment.
I enjoy the creative process, brainstorming and development. I have a very solid technical background when it comes to print, merchandise, packaging and display. I have years of press check expertise. I have created everything from coupons to massive displays, illustration to photography and I have a real soft spot for packaging. I have directed several talented teams of digital and print designers and have experience with D2C and meeting e-commerce needs. I have had amazing opportunities to design interiors and consumer experiences and even dabble in video and website art direction every once in a while. I can also build stuff, by hand, with real tools.
Other things:
Recently I moved to the base of Mt. St. Helens where we are remodeling a home. We are hiking, kayaking and exploring the area. I have 2 cat critters that warm laps and remain goofy reminders to relax.
